Today we learned how to carry our iPads using the hug hold, and to carefully put our iPads down on the table the right away.
We are learners at Glenbrae School in Auckland, New Zealand. Our teacher is Mrs Holmes.

Painting our 'waka'
Today we made a 'waka' out of cardboard, and we painted it lots of different colours. This is to show our over-arching theme of 'He waka eke noa' - which means we are all in this together, no one left behind, and all paddling in the same direction. Waka is the māori word for canoe / boat . Our waka will hang on our classroom wall. The children loved making it their own, by each painting a part of it.
